The BMX bikes are a part of little boys’ childhood dreams

Do you know a little boy who wouldn’t die to have BMX bikes? Probably not. BMX bikes are a central part of little boys’ childhoods – they dream of having their own BMX bikes to ramp up and over curbs, chew through dirt, rock, and sand, and race around in the wilderness. They want sport bikes in general, but in particular they want BMX bikes.

They’re not full-on cyclists yet, these little boys that want BMX bikes. They’re not concerned with having their arms at the right angles in relation to their BMX bikes. They don’t want thousands of dollars in accessories like gorgeous new rims or the best in cycling clothing. They just want to show off their BMX bikes and show off their sense of adventure and daring to all of their friends. And, ideally, none of those friends have BMX bikes of their own yet.

BMX bikes are all about adventure. To little boys, they’re the ultimate in sport bikes. BMX bikes can take them away from their homes, away from everything familiar, and let them get out and see the world through their own eyes for a little while. It doesn’t matter what the bicycle rims look like or if the frames are beaten, they have their own BMX bikes. They can do whatever they want. And when it’s too late, their BMX bikes can take them home in time to sit down with Mom for dinner.
