Supercross

The supercross is an adrenaline charge you’ll never forget!

You’ve never been to a supercross race? How can you call yourself a cyclist when you’ve never set foot inside a supercross track? If you’ve never experienced the rush – both physical and mental – of superbikes zooming by you at insane speeds and crashing around the supercross track like they’re indestructible, you can’t possibly call yourself a biker.

Supercross is very different from cycling, sure. Instead of regular manual performance bikes, you’ve got superbikes and motorized machines that have been cranked to the max zipping around right in front of you. But the elements are still there. Supercross is still a race between bikes, between cyclists, and you can’t deny that supercross is, in fact, a bike race to its very core. Even beyond that, supercross requires the riders to take their own lives into their hands since they’re riding bikes that travel at speeds close to those of auto racing.

Supercross demands even more of its bikes and riders than a traditional bike race. The speeds are higher, the stakes are higher, everything is higher. This means it takes the meaning of the term performance bikes to a whole new level, because bikes are expected to really perform in a supercross race. If they don’t, the supercross bikes can jeopardize not only the victory, but their rider’s life.
